Parking Information

Convenient, onsite parking is located directly behind New Center One in the Lothrop Street parking garage. A covered sky walk connects you to the New Center One building.
The garage features cameras that automatically read license plate numbers, eliminating the need for badges or gates. Visitors must register their license plate numbers and a valid credit or debit card into the Metropolis system to pay for parking. Henry Ford Health office staff will provide a validation code to cover up to two hour of parking.

Registering Your License Plate Number Is Quick and Easy
• Have your license plate number and a valid credit or debit card handy.
• Follow instructions here, or on any of the Metropolis Kiosks, or ask the medical office staff to assist you.

Parking Garage Rates:
• Up to 1 hour: $2
• Longer than 1 hour - $1 every 20 minutes over 1 hour
• Maximum - $12 per day

To avoid a parking ticket, be sure to register your license plate number before you leave the parking garage.

Parking Validation
Ask the office staff at your Henry Ford appointment to provide you with a validation code, which will cover up to two hours of parking in the Lothrop Street Garage.

Valet Parking
Valet parking costs $10 and is near the front door of New Center One, at the corner of West Grand Boulevard and Second Street.

Free Shuttle Service
Shuttle service to and from Henry Ford Hospital is available at no cost.
