Chest improvement (treatment for gynecomastia)
Chest improvement plastic surgery for men includes procedures to correct enlarged breast tissue (gynecomastia), resulting in flatter, firmer and more masculine chest. This is achieved by removing extra glandular tissue and/or targeted fat removal (also known as liposuction).
What to know:
- Most patients do not require a drain post-operation.
- Normal activity can resume within 1–2 weeks and strenuous exercise in 4–6 weeks.
- Results are long lasting, if not permanent.
- Minimal, discreet scarring.

Eye lift (blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery, or an eye lift, is clinically referred to as upper or lower blepharoplasty. This procedure can benefit swollen, drooping and hallowed eyes. The procedure can improve the appearance of tired or aging eyes, helping men look more alert and youthful while improving vision affected by excess skin.
What to know:
- Upper and lower blepharoplasty can be performed together in one procedure.

What to know:
- This outpatient procedure typically takes 2–3 hours.
- Initial recovery is approximately one week.
- Light activity can be resumed after 1–2 weeks and strenuous exercise after 6 weeks.

Hair removal
Our providers use the latest Sciton BARE HR laser for hair removal. This machine can treat all skin types from fair complexion to dark skin types. More than one session is required. Each session lasts less than 30 minutes depending on the area.
What to know:
- Patients should avoid sun exposure before and after the session.
- Full results appear in 3–6 months.

Liposuction
Male liposuction removes unwanted or excess fat underneath the skin. The fat removal can target a specific area on the body or for multiple places, including the thighs, hips and buttocks, abdomen and waist, upper arms, back, inner knee, chest, cheeks, chin, neck, calves and ankles.
What to know:
- Patients typically need to take 2–3 days of no activity to recover.
- Outpatient procedure with same-day discharge, but a caregiver will need to drive you home and assist you for the first 24 hours.
- Post-operation drains are typically not required.
- Light activity can be resumed after 3–4 days and strenuous exercise in 6 weeks.

Neck lift
A neck lift procedure enhances jaw definition through the removal of sagging skin. Your surgeon may also remove or sculpt fat tissue for a more youthful, masculine profile.
What to know:
- This procedure is often combined with facelift surgery.
- Normal activity can resume within three days.
- Patients should avoid bending and twisting for 1–2 weeks.
- Light exercise can resume after 2–4 weeks and strenuous exercise after 6 weeks.

Skin care
The skin changes over time and is adversely affected by sun exposure, smoking and the environment. Our providers will collaborate with you to tailor a skin care regimen to restore your skin appearance, tighten enlarged pores, and correct acne scarring. Skin care regimens can easily fit into your everyday routine.
Botox for men
Botox is a neurotoxin that is injected into the skin to temporarily block nerve signals and relax facial muscles. This can reduce the appearance of winkles and treat medical conditions, such as migraines, teeth grinding, excessive sweating and muscle spasms.
What to know:
- Neurotoxin results typically last for 3–4 months.
- Light exercise can resume after a few hours and strenuous activity after 24 hours.
Laser procedures
Laser skin resurfacing uses focused light to correct and restore skin texture with more accuracy and less damage to the surrounding tissue than other surgical methods. Lasers can treat a variety of skin concerns, including wrinkles and sun-damaged skin, psoriasis, blemishes, hair removal and scars.
What to know:
- Avoid strenuous exercise, heat and sweat for at least 24–48 hours after the procedure.
- Skin peeling may occur for up to 4 weeks after the procedure.
