Objectives of this course:
- Explain the evidence for early rehab in critical care.
- Identify the factors that determine a critical care patient’s readiness for participation in rehabilitation
- Identify when the patient’s clinical presentation or response to treatment indicates a need to modify or terminate treatment
- Describe prevention and treatment techniques for cognition in critical care patients
This course is intended for entry-level Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapy students, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Physical Therapy students.
This course is approved by APTA Michigan for 6.5 CEUs, and qualifies for NBCOT CEUs. Please check with your state licensing body to determine if courses approved by APTA MI are eligible for CEUs in your state. This course can provide live, synchronous CEUs if you are present (attendance will be taken). Webinar recordings will also be available on-demand prior to May 11th.
