RNs: Join our team and earn bonuses!
Henry Ford Health has introduced a sign-on bonus program for in-patient RNs. New full- and part-time RNs hired to work in an eligible hospital-based unit can earn up to $15,000 in bonuses. The bonus will be pro-rated for those who work less than 36 hours per week.
Available bonuses
New full- and part-time RNs hired to work in an eligible hospital-based unit can earn the following bonuses as described.
- Initial Signing Bonus – $7,500
- Full-time RNs will receive the bonus in the first pay following successful completion of the qualifying period. Part-time RNs will receive a pro-rated amount based on a 36-hour week.
- Final Retention Bonus – $7,500
- Full-time RNs will receive the bonus in the first pay following completion of 18 months of service. Part-time RNs will receive a pro-rated amount based on a 36-hour week.
- Additional Shift Bonus – $5,000
- Full-time RNs will receive up to $5,000 in the first pay following completion of 18 months of service working on a full shift that starts on or after 7 p.m. or 6 p.m., where the shift starts at 6 p.m. Part-time RNs will receive a pro-rated amount based on a 36-hour week.
Details and eligibility
The new full- or part-time RN hired:
- Must remain in the position for at least 18 months.
- Is eligible for an additional payment up to $5,000 for accepting a position on a shift that has a standard starting time after 7:00 p.m or 6 p.m., where the shift starts at 6 p.m..
- Must maintain either full- or part-time status throughout the retention period.
- Must remain in good standing and follow Henry Ford Health policies.
- Must remain at hired FTE status or greater. If fewer average hours are worked, payment will be prorated to actual FTE equivalent status.
- Will receive no payment if she/he moves to contingent status.
- Must remain on original hiring unit unless the hospital CNO approves a transfer to a different unit. The pulling to other units for a shift is acceptable.
- Is eligible if hired July 5, 2021 or later.
