Recovered from COVID-19?

Volunteer to Donate Convalescent Plasma

Convalescent plasma – collected from the blood of those who have recovered and tested positive for COVID-19 – contains antibodies that may help seriously ill COVID-19 patients recover better and faster from the virus. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or COVID antibodies, please seriously consider donating to potentially help others who are gravely ill.

Henry Ford Health System has emerged as a leader in the collection and use of convalescent plasma in Michigan. Partnering with Versiti blood centers, Henry Ford health professionals screen potential donors and arrange for plasma donation at the Versiti location in Livonia. From arrival to completion, the arm poke and the process of separating blood from plasma takes about an hour.
