A telephone outage is currently affecting inbound calls for making appointments and calling hospitalized loved ones. Our MyCare advice line is also affected. We apologize for this inconvenience. We’re actively working with our vendor to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Patients are advised to make or request a doctor’s appointment online through MyChart or henryford.com. Patients can also message their doctor and request medication renewals via MyChart. This outage does not impact Henry Ford Allegiance Health.

The Impact Partnership

There is no greater bond than with someone who has saved or changed your life – forever. Henry Ford physicians, nurses and other medical team members are miracle workers in the lives of patients and their families every day.

Care it forward

Exceptional care often creates a spirit of giving that can assist in so many future endeavors. This is why the Henry Ford Development Office started The Impact Partnership. We believe in caring it forward, and know that when you experience great care, you may be looking for ways to give back. We have received so many wonderful stories from patients whose lives have been changed, and know that they want to help us save additional lives, and help to keep others from the illness they have experienced.

Making an impact

We know that the work of our Henry Ford providers deeply touches lives every day. If you are grateful for your care, you can help ensure that others are provided with the best opportunities for treating their illness and achieving the best quality of life. Making an honorarium gift in the name of your doctor, nurse or another care team member is a great tribute to their efforts to provide the best care, and will ultimately help to build a healthier community.

How the Impact Partnership saves lives

In 2015, a national mandate was issued that all breast centers were to offer breast tomosynthesis screening – an imaging machine that many hospitals had not yet begun to use. The Henry Ford Development Office, together with their medical partners, rose to the challenge and raised the necessary dollars from donors, including grateful patients, to purchase six new tomosynthesis machines before the year’s end.

Since October 2015, more than 2,500 women have been screened at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, resulting in the discovery of previously undetectable breast cancers – saving the lives of many women and providing a community with a new tool in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
