Aaron Wootton brings a wealth of experience in information technology, including over 17 years in health care IT. He currently serves as Henry Ford Health’s Vice President of IT over Physician Practice Alignment & HIE initiatives, while also overseeing the analytics and EDW teams. In addition, Mr. Wootton serves as the VP and CIO of the system’s Central Market, which includes Henry Ford Allegiance Health.
In his current role, he utilizes his expertise in systems and process design to align organizational strategy, financing, and operations with information technology that enables the business. Mr. Wootton has extensive experience optimizing EHR programs and partnering with providers in system adoption, as well as an advanced understanding of Clinically Integrated Networks and the application of information technology in furthering population health.
He joined Henry Ford Allegiance Health in 2012 as the director of Jackson Community Medical Record (JCMR), a Henry Ford Allegiance-owned organization that is a national leader in the development of community-wide electronic medical records. Previous positions include director of the Ann Arbor Health Information Exchange and manager of clinical informatics for Michigan Heart.
Mr. Wootton earned both a BA in Information Systems Management and an MBA from Cleary University. His professional memberships include the College of Health Information Management Executives, the Michigan Hospital Association’s Strategic Information Technology Committee, and the Michigan Health Information Network’s Operations and Advisory Council.
Director Community Health Technology Network North & South Markets
Karyn Lemieux has worked in healthcare for nine years in various roles supporting Epic EMR implementation including training, support, system build, and management. Karyn’s seven years at Henry Ford Health have been in various roles within the Community Connect program.
Karyn is responsible for the Henry Ford Health Community Connect program to build, deploy, and enhance the Epic EMR for affiliated private practice providers. Her team is also responsible for the perpetual support of Epic-using private providers in the Henry Ford Health North and South regions.
Karyn has a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University and an MBA with a Certification in Health Services Administration from University of Detroit Mercy.
Transition Advisor, Jackson Health Network
Mr. Hazen currently serves as Transition Advisor for Jackson Health Network (JHN), a clinically integrated network in Jackson, Michigan. The Network is a collaboration of healthcare providers, physicians and hospital, that recognize the need to transform both the delivery of healthcare as well as the financing of healthcare. We use the IHI Triple Aim concept, improving health outcomes, patient’s experience of care and impacting the cost of care, as our driving principle.
Mr. Hazen also serves as an advisor to Community Health Technology Network (CHTN), a community-wide electronic health record system affiliated with Henry Ford Health.
Mr. Hazen has over 30 years experience in health care management. His principal recent focus has been providing short-term project assistance in executive management, financial and operational areas of leading health care entities. His work spans both for-profit and not-for-profit environments and his experience includes work at both start-up and turn around businesses. For twelve years, Wynn served as a member of executive health plan management teams.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hazen held long-term positions in the finance and operations departments at General Electric and Healthsource. He has also been a member of the adjunct SPEA faculty at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis teaching coursework in Health Care Finance and Budgeting.
Wynn received a BS in Business Administration from Valparaiso University and his MBA from St. Francis College.
Therese M. Roe
Director of Community Health Technology Network Central Market
Director of Health Information Exchange, Henry Ford Health
Therese has worked in health care for 37 years holding both clinical and administrative roles in Nursing and Clinical Informatics. She is currently serving as the Director of Community Health Technology Network, Central Market (CHTN) and Health Information Exchange for Henry Ford Health. In her various roles over the past 14 years at CHTN (formerly Jackson Community Medical Record), she has combined her clinical and IT background to oversee implementation, training, support, and the rollout of a community record to private physicians, employed physicians, and advanced practice providers emphasizing the need for a longitudinal record through health information exchange. For the past 4 years, CHTN has implemented Epic’s Community Connect program as our electronic health record.
In her early nursing career, Therese held management roles in inpatient and outpatient settings. She was instrumental in the creation of several behavioral health programs during that time. Clinical informatics is a passion for Therese, and she has been involved in the use of data and technology to improve a patient’s experience and create efficiencies in physician documentation for the past 19 years.
Therese is a member of the ANIA (American Nursing Informatics Association) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University. Most recently, she was nominated to sit on Epic’s 2022 Community Connect Steering Committee where she is excited about sharing ideas and advancing key concepts with other organizations.

Jeanne Wymer has worked in healthcare for twenty-seven years with a variety of roles in IT Leadership, Project Management, Application Management, and Programming. Jeanne’s career focused on implementation of a community-wide electronic health record in 2005 with the creation of Jackson Community Medical Record. With a passion for improving the health of our local community, Community Health Technology Network expands on the groundwork established with Jackson Community Medical Record to grow into southeastern Michigan.
As the Director, Business Operations for Community Health Technology Network, Jeanne is responsible for the legal, financial, and outreach programs. Jeanne also prepared materials and presents to the CHTN Board of Trustees.
Jeanne developed and remains responsible for an IT Business Relationship Management team at Henry Ford Allegiance Health to improve the IT experience for all of our operational leaders. As the IT Site Director, Jeanne is responsible for high reliability IT within Henry Ford Allegiance Health.
Jeanne has a Bachelor of Science from Baker College.
