SAVE THE DATE: NOVEMBER 6!
This fall the Henry Ford Physician Network will host its HFPN Physician Summit 2021: Building Bridges to the Future.
When: Saturday, November 6
Programming: 8:00 – 10:45 a.m.
The world of healthcare has many bridge building opportunities to maximize the positive impact in our communities. The intent of this Summit is to focus on several issues affecting our members as we pull out of the pandemic and see healthcare in a new light.
In less than three hours, attendees will hear from:
- Chief Health Equity Officer and SVP of the American Medical Association Aletha Maybank, MD, MPH who will address the broad topic of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
- HFMG orthopedic surgeon Eric Makhni, MD who will discuss connecting with patients on the other side of this pandemic state
- A panel of speakers who will offer perspectives on existing chasms of care and how they are building bridges to reach the other side (this will include Q&A with attendees)
While there is much work to do, there are also numerous silver linings of the pandemic that providers can embrace to improve patient outcomes and the value of care delivered. Our speakers and interactive format will present ways to navigate through the remarkable changes that have occurred, including the acceleration of virtual care, increased healthcare literacy and self-advocacy among patients and the widening gap in healthcare disparity amongst the undeserved population.
Save the date and plan on attending this virtual enriching event, which will include CMEs.
