Jeremy Fischer D.O., FACOFP
Program Director
Dr Fischer is board certified in family medicine and has been working with the family medicine residency since 2005. Dr. Fischer is an alumnus of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his residency training in family medicine at St. John-Oakland hospital.
In addition to teaching the residents, Dr. Fischer has an interest in preventative medicine. He conducts community lectures on nutrition and healthy lifestyles at Selfridge Air National Guard base. He also has done several diabetic cooking demonstrations for the public.
When not working, Dr. Fischer enjoys biking, kayaking, and skiing. He also enjoys cooking and is a published photographer.
Elizabeth Witer, D.O.
Associate Program Director
Dr. Witer is board certified in family medicine has been working with the family medicine residency since 2015. Dr. Witer is an alumnus of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her internship and residency training in family medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Dr. Witer enjoys teaching the residents practice based medicine. Clinical interests include women's health and preventative medicine, with a special interest in pediatric and adolescent medicine.
When not working, Dr. Witer enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, baking, and watching Michigan State sports.
Lina Yousif, D.O.
Core Faculty
Dr. Lina Rayes Yousif is board certified in family medicine and has been working with the family medicine residency since August 2016. Dr. Yousif is an alumnus of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her internship and residency training in family medicine at St John Providence Osteopathic division.
Dr. Yousif's clinical interests include preventive health and women's health.
Dr. Yousif enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Nicholas Gadzinski, D.O.

Dr. Gadzinski is board certified in family medicine and has been working with the family medicine residency since January 2017. Dr. Gadzinski is an alumnus of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his internship and residency training in family medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Dr. Gadzinski's clinical interests include pediatric and adult medicine with a special interest in addiction medicine.
Dr. Gadzinski enjoys running, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends.
Lisa Giovannini MS, PA-C, LLP
Behavioral Medicine Faculty
A Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Physician Assistant, Ms. Giovannini has been working with the Family Medicine Residency since 2016. She is a Graduate of University of Detroit with Masters in Medical Science and Clinical Psychology.
In addition to her faculty position, she is employed in private psychiatric practice specializing in Adult Behavioral Medicine, Geriatrics and Women's Health.
In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, skiing and spending time with her family.
