Current Challenge

Technologies for Patient Monitoring in Hospital Settings

The human body is a complex system. For millennia, we have tried to elicit information from the body to make inferences about health. Monitors in today's hospitals measure, record, and alert health professionals to aberrant data possibly requiring interventions. However, we know even with the advanced systems at our disposal that there are missed or undetected impactful signals. At Henry Ford Health System, we believe there is an opportunity to disrupt the current state of patient monitoring. "Technologies for Patient Monitoring in Hospital Settings" is a challenge to better harness, interpret, and employ the information the human body provides.

Application deadline is November 7, 2019.
