The Corporate Innovation Program positions HFHS as a global leader in aligning healthcare delivery with corporate investment. It fosters opportunities for corporate partners to collaborate with Henry Ford Innovations and participate in the commercialization of those innovations. We are responsible for leveraging Henry Ford’s intellectual and clinical assets through new ventures, M&A, product development, and corporate partnerships.
The Henry Ford Corporate Innovation program is comprised of two initiatives that serve to engage external partners and foster collaborative innovation programs:
- Corporate Institutes: The building block of the Corporate Innovation program, designed to establish multi-year committed research partnerships aimed at elucidating, developing and employing novel interventions in designated technology and/or clinical-defined arenas. The partnerships will induce iterative, full-spectrum collaboration that span the development continuum, from early-stage conception and analysis through clinical validation and post-launch education, adoption and effectiveness research.
- Challenge Programs: Corporate sponsorship of healthcare challenge programs allows for joint discovery and attraction of new ideas and technologies in specific clinical-defined areas from within HFHS, around the region, and across the globe.
