30 YEARS AND COUNTING
Honoring Georgia Fojtasek and helping those in need
Georgia Fojtasek has invested 30 years into transforming the culture of Henry Ford Allegiance Health and improving the vitality and well-being of our entire community, including those who are most vulnerable. Inspired by Georgia’s caring spirit and our team’s intense desire to help those in need, the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation created the Staff Assistance Fund for Emergencies (SAFE) program in 2008. Since then, SAFE has provided confidential financial assistance to eligible Allegiance staff struggling with a sudden, unforeseeable financial need, like lack of reliable transportation for work or a major medical expense.
As Georgia brings her 30-year tenure to a close, she and her husband Travis have created 30 Years and Counting to benefit SAFE. This project will serve as an ongoing, practical expression of their continued compassion and loyalty. You can honor Georgia’s legacy by making your own one-time or annual donation to SAFE. Your contribution to the financial stability of staff will bring the peace of mind that allows our dedicated team to focus on what they do best—provide top quality care and service for our friends, family and loved ones every day.
