To Our Valued Volunteers,

Paula Autry, President and CEO of Henry Ford Allegiance HealthAs Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health, now more than 500 strong, you provide an invaluable contribution to our Health System. Generously donating your time and talents to assist with the Hospital’s special events and programs, Family Waiting Room, fundraising sales, Pet Therapy program, Lobby Gift Shop, Comfort Cart and so much more, you make a positive difference every day!

Most importantly, your welcoming smiles and helpful demeanor help us provide an exceptional care experience for our patients and their families. This year, during the Hospital’s major renovation projects, you have played an important role in helping our visitors find their way to appointments, tests and procedures. Henry Ford Allegiance Health simply could not run as smoothly without you!

It is a long-standing Henry Ford Allegiance Health tradition to honor our Volunteers with an annual Appreciation Celebration in April. As you may have anticipated, this year’s celebration had to be cancelled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our local Hospital. Please understand this unfortunate but necessary cancellation does not diminish our deep appreciation for the important work you do. Because we truly value you, we want to keep you safe and healthy.

Until Henry Ford Allegiance Health notifies you that it is safe to do so, please do not report to the Hospital for your Volunteer work. The Lobby Gift Shop will remain closed as well, until COVID-19 social distancing restrictions have been lifted.

We will be in touch as more information related to our Volunteers becomes available. In the meantime, please take good care of yourself and your family. You can find reliable, up-to-date COVID-19 information and resources.
