Vice President, Operations, Henry Ford Hospital

Ann Marie Creed, MSA, CMPE, FACHE has been with Henry Ford Hospital (HFH) since 2000. She became vice president of operations for the hospital in 2017. Ann Marie provides administrative oversight and business operations of utilization management, admissions and transfers, bed management, environmental services, cardiac catheterization and EP labs. She oversees all capital projects, including campus expansion and operating initiatives.

Ann Marie initially joined HFHS in 2000 as the Senior Administrator for the Department of Surgery. Over the course of her tenure, in addition to the Department of Surgery she oversaw the Departments of Otolaryngology and Anesthesia. In this role she oversaw the operations of all ambulatory surgical clinic activities and growth for the Henry Ford Medical Group.

During 2011 – 2012, she held the position of Associate Vice President of Adult Clinical Services at Harper University Hospital/Hutzel Women’s Hospital at the Detroit Medical Center.

In late 2012, she returned to Henry Ford Health Sysytem (HFHS) as the Vice President of Surgical Services for Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network. In this position, she managed the operations of surgical services at the hospital and Henry Ford’s outpatient surgical centers. In addition, she oversaw the cardiac catheterization and EP labs as well as the Department of Anesthesia.

Aside from Henry Ford, Ann Marie serves on many professional and community associations. She holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, is a Certified Medical Practice Executive by the Medical Group Management Association and has achieved Fellowship status with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
