Eric Wallis

President, Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital

Wallis EricEric assumed the role of President at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in May 2019. Eric brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the role. He most recently served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas. Eric began his career in nursing and has spent the last 13 years in hospital leadership roles, including experience with multiple services lines and hospital operations. He also brings diverse experience ranging from large academic medical centers to community hospitals.

Eric is a transformational leader who understands engaging all team members through innovation and collaboration. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, holds a Master of Science Administration degree from Central Michigan University, and recently received a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Christian University. Eric is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served as a board member for nursing associations such as the North Texas Organization of Nurse Executives and Ohio Organization for Nurse Executives.
