DETROIT – Richard Huggins, M.D., has been named division head of the Department of Dermatology at the Henry Ford Medical Center-Ford Road in Dearborn.
Dr. Huggins, a Henry Ford dermatologist since 2012, is a national leader in treating the skin diseases vitiligo and hidradenitis suppurativa. He is board certified in dermatology.
Dermatology is among a number of adult and pediatric services offered at the Ford Road medical center, located at 5500 Auto Club Drive, west of the Southfield Freeway. Lab and pharmacy services are also available onsite.
Dr. Huggins earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey. He completed his internship at State University of New York at Buffalo and his residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He also completed fellowship training at Henry Ford and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
