About Me

Dr. Alexander Groth was raised in Milford, Michigan. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Alma College and graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. His clinical rotations included the Henry Ford Optimeyes Supervision Center in West Bloomfield, John D. Dingell VAMC in Detroit, and Duane L. Waters Hospital in Jackson, MI. Dr. Groth began working at the Southfield Super Vision Center in 2018 until moving to the Lake Orion Vision Center in 2020. His clinical interest include primary eye care and contact lens management as well as treatment/management of acute and chronic ocular conditions including: diabetes, glaucoma, and red eyes. In his free time Dr. Groth likes to canoe, golf, and read.
