Efficient, good physical exam. Reviewing her note in my chart, I was disappointed that she did not mention what caused my injury - which mattered down the road.
The doctor was not very welcoming. Very cold and unfriendly. I was excited when she walked in the room as I have never had a Black Female PCP, but the excitement quickly went away after her introduction. I guess she is just very matter of fact and mechanical.
I don't think it is just THIS provider but there wasn't much care paid to discussing the various reasons for my symptoms (general gastrointestinal distress). For instance, I mentioned gut health and she did not address that at all. I was concerned about ruling out a more serious issue and felt dismissed. The end recommendation was try pepcid and see a gastroenterologist. This was a pretty unsatisfying outcome and I wish providers would take a more holistic view of patients and problems.
Dr.English did not look at the shoulder where I was having the pain I was telling her about the pain I was having in my right hand she did not ask any question about that pain
