My approach to medicine and patient care is holistic. I like to meet with my patients to discuss their needs, so that we can find the best treatment plan for them. My hope as a family medicine doctor is that all my patients will live happy, healthy lives, knowing that I will be here for them when they get sick.
I started my journey at Henry Ford Health System in 2011 when I began my family medicine residential training. After completing my residency, I spent half my time at Henry Ford and half at other facilities, most notably at a methadone clinic where I accumulated 2 years of addiction medicine experience.
Currently, I am a teaching faculty member for the family medicine residency at Henry Ford Macomb, seeing my own patients and precepting residents' visits with patients. One of the best parts of my job is working with the residents and watching them grow. Medical education is so valuable to the continuation and enhancement of the field, and I am honored to be a part of it.
While I am very passionate about my work, I also make time for my family and myself. I love being outdoors: camping, running, biking; anything that keeps me active and moving. When I am indoors, I enjoy entertaining family and friends at my home.
