Dr. McBride attended the University of Detroit Mercy and Wayne State University, respectively, for undergraduate and medical degrees. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital - Royal Oak, where she served as Chief Resident. She is fully board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was also elected Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. McBride is a Michigan native. Having chosen to remain in the Detroit area for all of her education and training, she subsequently made a conscious decision to dedicate her practice back to the region that's served her very well over the years. Outside of work, Dr. McBride enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys - especially anything that involves sports or being outdoors.
I have dedicated my generalist gynecology practice to the care of women in all stages of their lives. I chose to be a generalist OB/Gyn because I enjoy addressing the diversity of clinical issues that may arise throughout a woman's lifespan, practicing by evidence-based medicine, but remaining open-minded to many care philosophies. I practice by the mantra that no issue is "too small" to have an effect on a patient's well-being.
