Dr. Nithin Natwa MD is a double board certified physician in Sports and Family Medicine.
I received my training from some of the top leaders in the field completing my fellowship at the first established Sports Medicine program in the country. My Family Medicine training was thorough and rigorous in both inpatient and outpatient medicine at a level 3 FQHC and a level 1 trauma center hospital (highest levels). I have also helped advance the fields of Sports and Family Medicine through peer reviewed medical journals and educational articles.
I aim to use my academic training in conjunction with the soft skills I acquire from my MBA to curate an educational relationship with my patients. I place a heavy emphasis on cultivating a productive physician patient relationship. I want my patients to feel as if they are making an informed decision on their treatment based on the options I educate them on. It’s important that you, as the patient, understand what is happening to your body and how our plan will get you back to peak form.
To help minimize inconveniences to my patients I am able to see patients through virtual visits. Issues I treat include but are not limited to: concussions, overuse injuries, acute injuries, degenerative conditions, nutrition, sports psychology, fracture care, conditions requiring ultrasound guided injections, Esports, dance medicine.
With mutual trust and respect we can achieve an optimal outcome together.
