I specialize in Data Analysis, Research Design, and Sample Size Justification.
I have been a consulting biostatistician for over 36 years at Henry Ford Health System. During that time, I have been supported as the primary biostatistician on approximately 35 NIH-funded research grants. At present, I am supported on grants studying suicide (PI Brian Ahmedani, PhD), cardiac rehabilitation (PI Steven Keteyain, PhD), and heart failure (PI David Lanfear, MD).
Over the course of my career, I have been a member on three study sections at the NIH as well as being an ad hoc member multiple times. I served as the biostatistical member of our health system animal care committee. I was Chair of the Department of Public Health Sciences for 8 years. I have consulted with many physicians and am co-author on over 280 manuscripts including publications in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association.
