Biographical Statement

Amanda Poncil is a licensed, Clinical Social Worker who specializes in pediatric and adolescent behavioral health in outpatient and virtual settings. She has three years of experience working with children and youth in the therapeutic setting. She has five years additional experience working with youth as a social worker in various settings.

She became interested in behavioral health because she desires to serve as a support to help children, youth, and their families work through various challenges, thoughts, and feelings.

Her clinical areas of interest include : depression, anxiety, PTSD, women’s behavioral health, relationship issues, mood disorders, and familial conflict.

She received her Master of Social Work at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

Amanda’s preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.

"I believe that every patient is the expert of their life, story, and experiences. Each person is unique in their own way and our  life is often shaped by our identity and experiences, beliefs, and environment which constantly evolves.

My goal is to provide therapy that meets my patients where they are and improves their overall quality of life."
