About Me

Biographical Statement:

I specialize in the surgical management of brain and spinal cord tumors, including both benign and malignant tumors. I'm proficient in complex spine, including performing anterior cervical discectomies, lumbar micro discectomies/instrumentation and other spinal and stabilization fusion procedures. My clinical interests encompass a broad spectrum of neurosurgical conditions, including treating Chiari malformations, trigeminal neuralgia and treating tumors of the skull base such as vestibular schwannomas.

 

Research Interests:

  • The Johns Hopkins Hospital, stem cell research for brain tumors
  • UCLA School of Medicine, retroviral-directed therapy for cancer
