Henry Ford Health System’s Women’s Health Services provides a specialized Sexual Health Clinic, staffed by a board-certified OB/GYN who has a special interest and experience in treating women and couples with various concerns related to sexuality and sexual health.
Dr. Phillis Mims-Gillum sees patients with sexual health concerns at the Women’s Health clinic inside Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Common concerns that Dr. Mims-Gillum can help address include:

Sexuality after cancer
Patients with cancer or a chronic illness often have very unique and specific concerns about sexuality and sexual relations. Dr. Mims-Gillum also focuses on helping patients with these conditions, as well as helping post-surgical patients who may experience sexual problems or concerns after surgery. Spouses are also welcome at appointments and are encouraged to ask questions about how sexuality may change after an illness or surgery.
