Robotic facelift thyroidectomy allows patients to have safe removal of their thyroid gland without needing an incision on the front of the neck. In this surgery, an incision is made behind the ear and the surgical robot is used to help remove the gland. Because the incision is behind the ear, it cannot be seen. Other thyroid surgeries using the robot have resulted in some patients experiencing complications. Robotic facelift thyroidectomy is a safer and easier robotic thyroidectomy procedure.
