Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Expansion

Transforming to provide the best possible environment for advanced care and healing

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is launching the largest expansion and transformation project since the hospital was built in 1975. The new North Tower and renovation of the existing hospital will transform the hospital’s campus, providing Macomb County area community members with the type of healing environment they deserve.

In recent years, the hospital has significantly increased the level of advanced care available, ranging from heart and neurosurgery innovations to trauma services and more. When completed in 2023, the expanded and renovated hospital’s patient rooms and other areas will match the superior care now available.

All private rooms and more

With the new, five-story, 160-patient room addition and renovation of 107 existing patient rooms, patients and families will experience the healing power of a beautiful, spacious environment with all the high tech and high touch features available. Key benefits to the expansion include:

  • Expansion of powerhouse and loading dock
