International Patient Cost Information

At Henry Ford Health System, delivering exceptional patient care includes coordinating all the financial details so you and your family member can focus on your health. Our care coordinators provide international patient cost estimates before you start treatment.

Prospective patients must first undergo a medical records review. Your medical records review fee will act as a deposit towards your total healthcare cost, if you choose treatment with us. Learn more about how to become an international patient.

Payment Information for International Patients

Currently, Henry Ford Health System only accepts health insurance plans from the United States. International patients may use the following forms of payment: 

  • Cash (U.S. currency only)
  • Cashier’s checks
  • Credit cards
  • Wire transfers

In the past 21 days you have been diagnosed with COVID-19. In the past 14 days you have had contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19. Or If you have experienced two or more of the following symptoms in the last 3 days: fever, chills, drenching sweats, new cough, loss of taste/smell, shortness of breath, body aches, headache, sore throat, runny nose or nasal congestion, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea.
