Stop the Bleed - Novi

The #1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. Learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, become certified to STOP THE BLEED, and feel empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.

The course is approx. 90-minutes and will teach three quick actions to stop bleeding and help save a life at home, in the community, or even at work!

Learn how to:

• How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound
• How to pack a wound to control bleeding
• How to correctly apply a tourniquet

Participants will leave with a bleeding control starter kit with large gloves, rolled gauze, a Stop the Bleed pamphlet and completion certificate. No medical, military, or first aid background needed. The class is open to all but space is limited so sign up today!
