Henry Ford employee giving continues at home
Several years ago, the Employee Community Giving Campaign was created at Henry Ford to offer employees a way to support the health system’s Helping Hands program as well as our community partners, United Way for Southeastern Michigan and Black United Fund. Money raised for those programs support our employees, patients and volunteers as well as the communities in which we live and work.
Many Henry Ford employee giving options
Since its inception the program has grown. In addition to our community partners, employees can now choose from more than 170 different Henry Ford programs and initiatives. Every year, donations have increased. In fact, in the ten years since the Employee Giving campaign was launched, annual contributions have catapulted from $200,000 to more than $3,100,000 in gifts – from more than 60 percent of Henry Ford employees. The Henry Ford Employee Giving campaign has become a national model, unparalleled by any across the country, and it’s responsible for increased employee engagement and generating life-saving funding.
