Welcome to the Henry Ford Hospital Surgery Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship Program. Our goal is to train the best cardiothoracic surgeons in the country. We have a unique program which is very clinically busy and has wonderful opportunities for mentorship.

Letter of introduction

Thank you for your interest in our fellowship program. We designed our program based on the interests of our fellows. Not only do we perform thousands of major cases each year, but we also have a very busy research team. In addition, we are committed to providing care to underrepresented communities and underserved individuals.

Diversity Statement

We are one of the most diverse cardiothoracic surgery fellowships in the country. Our division has been highlighted locally and nationally for our work with underrepresented communities. We perform outreach services with underrepresented high school students and invite our fellows to participate in those sessions. Our diversity is our strength.
