Kyle G Miletic, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Miletic is a staff surgeon in the division of cardiac surgery at Henry Ford. A native of Michigan, he attended medical school at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, he obtained specialized training in complex open and endovascular surgery as well as heart and lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. 

Today, Dr. Miletic's practice encompasses all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, although his main clinical and research focus is on complex aortic disease including aortic aneurysm and acute and chronic dissection. Heart and lung transplantation and advanced surgical therapies for heart and lung failure also form a large part of his practice. At Henry Ford, he is the co-director of the multidisciplinary aortic center as well as associate program director for the thoracic and cardiovascular surgery fellowship program.
