The ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Hospital is a five-year program centered at Henry Ford Health’s flagship academic referral center in the heart of Detroit. We offer a broad training experience across an integrated health system, ranging from foundational elective cases to complex and rare pathologies. Our nationally recognized faculty includes members of every subspecialty.

Our residents benefit from early operative experience on focused rotations and specialized training experiences like hands-on dissection labs. Their dedicated research time includes exposure to full-time research faculty focused on translational and health services work. Additional education and research opportunities are available through Henry Ford Health's partnership with Michigan State University.

We train residents to become the leaders of tomorrow in clinical practice, education, research, as well as their communities.
