Radiation Oncology Didactics

Unique clinical didactic seminar series consisting of case presentation and discussion with faculty 3 days/week. The seminar series is comprehensive and spans all clinically relevant topics which include:

  • central nervous system
  • pediatrics
  • thoracic
  • gastrointestinal
  • hematology
  • gynecologic
  • genitourinary
  • head and neck
  • breast
  • palliative
  • and musculoskeletal oncology

The seminar series results in the production of a note set every year called the "Louisville Slogger".

Formal physics, radiobiology and biostatistics courses in addition to our seminar series offered on a yearly basis.

Residents actively participate in our monthly journal club and morbidity/mortality conference.
