Denise Robinson, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC
Associate Vice President, Nursing, Division II
Denise Robinson is an associate vice president of Nursing for Henry Ford Hospital. She is responsible for the medical and medical specialty general practice units and the medical intensive care units. Denise started at Henry Ford Health in 1980 and has worked in various leadership roles for the past 30+ years. She has been in her current role since 2011.
She received the 2015 Shadow of a Leader Award and the 2019 Clara Ford Award for Safest Care and Best Outcomes, as well as the Daisy Nurse Leader Award in December 2025. She is chair of the Henry Ford Health committee to reduce patient falls and a longtime member of the Ethics Committee.
Denise graduated from Mercy College of Detroit in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as a pediatric nurse. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration from Madonna University in 2011. She is board certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced leader by the American Nurse Credentialing Center.
Denise has a passion for quality improvement and enjoys collaborating with teams to drive change.
