Supporting a culture of caring

More than 400 dedicated community members contribute their valuable time and skills as Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Working closely with our staff, the Volunteers help ensure our patients and visitors have an exceptional experience.

This diverse group of men and women adds richness to the Henry Ford Allegiance Health culture of caring. With a friendly smile and greeting, they make our hospital guests feel welcome and help put them at ease. They also give words of comfort, guide those who need directions, assist at special events and support patient care through a variety of fundraiser sales. We could not accomplish all we do for our community without the help of these generous individuals.

Get ready to make a difference!

If you would like to make a positive difference and help our patients and visitors feel welcome and comfortable, please learn more about our volunteer opportunities and fill out an application form. Protecting the safety and care of our patients is our top priority; all volunteers must complete an application process that includes a personal interview and a criminal background check.

Enjoy the rewards

Volunteering at Henry Ford Allegiance Health means making a commitment to excellence. You will be rewarded for your dedication with smiles, hugs and words of gratitude from those whose lives you touch.
