Ahmad Awada, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr Awada earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, followed by Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University and Fellowship in Gynecology Oncology at Advent health-Orlando. Dr Awada specializes in the treatment of all gynecological cancer and complex gynecological surgery. Dr Awada is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.

I’m committed to provide the best, most personalized and compassionate care for women facing gynecologic cancer. I understand that cancer journey is overwhelming and challenging therefore I am committed to walk alongside my patient through every step of your treatment journey. My approach is tailored specifically to my patient needs while providing innovative treatment options being medical or surgical. I m a great believer in multi-disciplinary approach and collaboration among different specialists to assure my patients receive the standard of care treatment. My goal is not only to treat gynecologic cancer but to support my patients throughout their journey, offering personalized care that enhances quality of life. I will always be available to address any concerns or questions you may have.

Research Interests

During his fellowship, Dr. Awada completed multiple researches including the role of immunotherapy in ovarian cancer and the role of radiation and hormonal therapy in endometrial cancer. Also prior to fellowship, he was appointment as adjunct instructor at the Wilmot cancer center where he was studying Septin inhibitor in endometrial cancer.
