About Me
Biographical Statement
I am a Senior Scientist at Research, Data and Analysis, Public Health Sciences Faculty, Henry Ford Hospital. My research primarily focuses on the development and application of existing statistical methods in the area of health sciences and specifically in cancer. I have background in mathematics and statistics, with specific training and expertise in longitudinal study with focus on survey data. My PhD focused in comparing the model based and survey-based methods for binary and time to event outcome data. I received my degree in Biostatistics from the University of Saskatchewan focused on development and application of the statistical methods for longitudinal survey data with binary outcome.
After my PhD, my work focused in the area of cancer epidemiology and biostatistics, as the statistical methods are dependent on the type of outcome variables and hence can be applied to similar field as well. I have over 20+ years of experience in the area of longitudinal data, survival analysis and repeated measures data. My background in Biostatistics is not limited to longitudinal data or survival analysis but also focusses on prognostication model, missing data analysis, predictive analysis as well as quality of life data analysis.
