Biographical Statement

Dr. Erica Herc is a board-certified infectious disease physician at Henry Ford Health with expertise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complex infectious diseases. She cares for patients with a wide range of infections and is committed to advancing evidence-based approaches that improve outcomes for individuals with acute and chronic infectious conditions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Herc is actively involved in medical education and physician training through the Henry Ford Health Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of infectious disease specialists while promoting excellence in patient care, research and quality improvement.

Dr. Herc's work emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, antimicrobial stewardship and the development of innovative strategies to address emerging infectious disease challenges. She is committed to improving patient outcomes through research, education and the implementation of best practices across healthcare settings.
