About Me

Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship, Program Director

Dr. Sharon Wu Lahiri received her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center and a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Lahiri is currently a senior staff physician with Henry Ford Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Bone and Mineral Disorders. She is also the Endocrinology fellowship Program Director. She is particularly interested in thyroid disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome and diabetes.  

I appreciate the unique needs and goals of my patients and enjoy working with them to reach these goals and improve their health.

Awards and Honors
Dr. Lahiri is board certified in Endocrinology. She is a member of the Association of Program Directors in Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Endocrine Society. She received an Endocrine Society Abbott Thyroid Clinical Research Fellowship Finalist Award for her research in the past and has published in the area of thyroid disease and diabetes.
