About Me
Biographical Statement
Dr. MacLean grew up in the Metro Detroit area. She received a B.A. in English from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She returned to obtain her M.D. degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She completed her General Surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, and a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She then joined the Henry Ford Medical Group following the completion of her training. Her clinical interests include robotic surgery and the care of critically ill surgical patients in the ICU. Outside of her clinical activities, Dr. MacLean enjoys spending time with her husband and young children.

My care philosophy centers on a patient-centered approach. My goal is to make patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care plan.
