About Me

Biographical Statement

Providers at Henry Ford’s School-Based Health locations provide primary care and behavioral health services to children ages 5-21, regardless of health insurance coverage or ability to pay. School-based health clinics are located within more than a dozen schools in Wayne and Macomb counties. These school-based clinics provide care to area youth while schools are in session as well as during the summer break when schools are closed.

I hold a Master’s level Clinical License in Social Work in the state of Michigan and have been practicing in the field since 2017. My experience ranges from working with clients in a residential setting to working with youth/ adolescents and their families in office for individual and family therapy sessions.   I am passionate about helping individuals identify mental health goals they hope to achieve such as building healthy relationships, understanding their emotions, managing stress, anger, and anxiety effectively, building healthy self-esteem, and improvement in overall mental health.   I utilize a combination of evidenced-based therapy models, motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, modeling, role-play, and mindfulness practices to help treat depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse and many other mental health concerns
