Eileen M Pokriefka, DO

Biographical Statement

Dr. Pokriefka has been in clinical practice since 1992. She completed her medical school and post-graduate training right here in Michigan, first at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, then at a pediatric residency training program at St. John Hospital in Detroit. She joined the Henry Ford Health Pediatrics department in 2022.

Care Philosophy

I am a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. That means I consider the whole patient – body, mind, and spirit – when evaluating and treating my patients. My focus is on keeping your child healthy through preventative care and utilizing the body’s own natural healing abilities during illnesses. I like to foster a relationship based on mutual respect and kindness with my patients and their families and collaborate on the decision-making when it comes to your child’s medical care.
