Biographical Statement

As a physician assistant I have come to appreciate the complexities of the both the human body and mind, and find the problem solving aspect of medicine fascinating.  I have worked in many areas of medicine, however, my heart has found its home in Family Medicine.  I enjoy the continuity of relationships I am able to establish with the patients I treat, and to me there is no greater compliment than caring for an entire family.  The goal of my practice is that when a patient leaves my care they feel heard and understood.

My primary interest is in lifestyle and wellness.  When a patient is willing to explore these areas, I seek to use diet, exercise, and stress reduction to help treat chronic disease, and if possible reduce use of medications.  I enjoy helping patients to improve their quality of life, and find that these measures contribute greatly to that cause.
