Biographical Statement
The laboratory studies skin barrier health. The goal is to understand skin development and homeostasis (genetics and epigenetics). The lab generates this new knowledge to understand the impact of human genetic diversity for inflammatory skin diseases and cancer. The translation of this knowledge directly impacts health disparity research and precision medicine initiatives for our patients.
