About Me
Biographical Statement
Dr. Joel Topf earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a year of work in pediatric critical care. He then pursued a fellowship in adult nephrology at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Topf is a recognized expert in fluid and electrolyte disorders, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. He is a dedicated physician educator, teaching at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, and serves as the Associate Program Director for the St. John Nephrology Fellowship Program. He has authored three medical textbooks and is an author on over forty peer-reviewed articles. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Topf is the Medical Director of St. Clair Research.

Care Philosophy
