GROW: Generational Resilience Opportunity and Wellness

Center for Autism and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

Care for autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities doesn’t end when a child becomes an adult. At GROW, we offer primary care, along with diagnostic and therapy services, for individuals of any age who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Because at Henry Ford Health, we believe everyone should be able to receive the highest quality healthcare and become empowered to reach their greatest potential.

Primary Care for Those Who Have Autism & I/DD

People who have ASD or an I/DD require specialized primary care – including preventive care, routine screenings and interventions – that are tailored to their developmental stage and health condition(s).

We pay special attention to adolescents and young adults, helping them learn about their health and how to navigate healthcare as they transition from childhood to adulthood. We work to promote their overall health, enhance their quality of life and support their journey toward greater independence.
