Celebrate Minority Health Awareness Month
During this presentation by Henry ford Health pharmacists, participants will learn:
- April is National Minority Health Awareness month so the presenters will focus on the Social Determinants of Health in relationship to medication cost & access, the ability to print medicine labels in other languages, and medication safety with National Drug Take-Back Day scheduled for 4/30/2023.

Speakers’ information:
Megan Hardy, PharmD is a current Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her PGY1 clinical pharmacy residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in Morgantown, West Virginia. Her interests are in outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) and community outpatient antimicrobial therapy (COpAT).
Christen Langley, PharmD is a current Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Henry Ford Health as well. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in Jacksonville, Florida. Her interests are in research and antimicrobial stewardship.
