Medication Safety & National Colorectal Awareness
During this presentation by Henry Ford Pharmacists, participants will learn about:
- Medication safety in the home when there are children, teens, and persons with dementia living in the home or visiting the home
- Since March is Colorectal Awareness Month, the presenters will go over common medications used with preparing for a colonoscopy and the importance of Colon Cancer screening.

Megan Hardy, PharmD is a current Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her PGY1 clinical pharmacy residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in Morgantown, West Virginia. Her interests are in outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) and community outpatient antimicrobial therapy (COpAT).
Christen Langley, PharmD is a current Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Henry Ford Health as well. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in Jacksonville, Florida. Her interests are in research and antimicrobial stewardship.
