Participants will learn from Henry Ford Health Pharmacists about Medicare GAP Coverage, cost of medicine, and explore possible solutions through patient assistance programs, coupons, and insurance choices.

About the presenters

Hannah Ferrari, PharmD is the current PGY2 in Ambulatory Care at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Ferrari earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Wayne State University in 2021. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Beaumont Dearborn in 2022.

Amber Lanae Martirosov (Smith), PharmD, MSc, BCPS, BCACP is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is also a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Ambulatory Care and pulmonary medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. MI.

Dr. Martirosov earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Virginia Commonwealth University College of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA in 2011. She then completed a Masters of Pharmacotherapy and Residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2013. Dr. Martirosov received board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2013 and ambulatory care in 2018. Dr. Martirosov designed and implemented an ambulatory care clinic focused on managing high-risk pulmonary patients including those with asthma/COPD, ILD, and PAH. The clinic provides comprehensive therapy management, medication access/adherence assistance, and patient education. The clinic also serves as a training site for both pharmacy residents and students.
